SYCO Concert
Hmm, went for syco's concert on saturday. Heh, concert suppose to start at 8pm. n the tanbo sectiondecided to meet at 5.30 for dinner ~ Tt gave us.. hmm.. *counts with fingers, 2 n a half hrs for dinner. Hahaz, its cuz of some horrible past exp. when they meet like 1 n a half earlier for concert still have to run to catch it end up still late. Lolz, tt time me nt arnd sia, wonder how earth they managed tt. Anyway, yah, this time, wanna make sure we dun have to run, meet 2 n a half hr earlier n eat at a BK tts super near SCH. Lolz, end up gt loads of time to stone arnd at BK, stoning had became our speciality liao.. But hey, its cuz we stone tts y we rock k? =)
Anyway, we celebrated Jason's b-day at BK. Hmmm, quite a simple affair sia. Yx went to get this Hershey choc pie or sth, then stuck a straw on top of it in an attempt to make it resemble somewat like a candle.. Lolz, din sing the b-day song for him sia, cuz in public place, abit the nt gd to make noise.. but ya, Jason, we gt sing in our hearts ya ? =)
Went to SCH then i gt to know tt 'someone' is gonna do a solo sia, no wonder shuan hao dressed up specially sia, dun remember him dressing up when he went for the TJCO concert with me tt day.. HmMmmMmmzzZz.. =P Anyway, tt aside, Pei Qian's solo is very nice ~~~~ Yun2 Nan2 Hui2 Yi4 - Di4 San1 Yue4 Zhang1. Wah lau ~ her fingers r like mechinal with a motor inside lah ~ jump up jump down, play high notes all no prob. HaizZz, was telling yiting tt see le me feel so demoralise, dun wanna touch zhongruan anymore..
Then still gt other songs la, Dong1 Nan2 Xi1 Bei3 Zhong1 n Sha1 Di2 Er3 in the first half. Both of them quite nice lah, wonderful display of the players' capabilities.
The last piece.. Tian1 Wang3.. Like wat xunqi said b4 we went for the concert, its really super touching sia ~~~ n the poetry recital really blends in well with the music, bring out emphasizing the cresendos n stuff (even though i have no idea at all wat the poem means =P) Very nice ~~ =)
HaizZz, sadly, its nt a concert tt had both quality n quantity.. its only like 1 n a half hr? It ended at like 9.30+ n have no encore at all... Nvm, still enjoyed myself nevertheless =)
(Hmm, the second concert tt i din fall asleep, either they r super nice or my keeping myself awake skill is improving =P Heh, think its the former rather than the latter ba)
PC Show '05
Went for the PC show on sunday.. Lolz, at first, my father juz went there to get a hard disk n a cd-rom drive for the current com, cuz these 2 things died/is dying liao. Then, he changed his mind n decided to get himself a budget com at 999 instead. okay, i see, y nt, cuz even with a change in hard disk, there will still be other prob as well.. like the graphics n the sound n whether it will solve the prob or nt in the first place.
But then, there's juz this teeny weeny prob, its running on celeron. Its common to see budget coms running on celeron lah, cuz its intel's solution to the high priced pentium processors, attempting to balance performance n price. But then, it juz so happen tt my father dun like celeron processors.. So how? His eyes immediately turn to the set nxt to it, n its priced at 1499 ~ Lolz, the more the salesperson say, the more interested he become (guess they r really gd at toking ppl into it ba, they rely on tt to eat afterall)
Lolz, n bingo ~ my father had juz bought himself a 1499 com n me shall wait patiently at home for its arrival on thursday. Haha, wondeful rite? from a spending of like less than 300 until 1.5k. Haiz, dunno wat to say oso, can't complain anyway, cuz its afterall for me n my bros' benefit =P
Oh yah, also saw graphic cards on sale too. Back in my sec 2 days.. the most ex. cards for nVidia would be sth like GeForce 4 titanium 4800 or sth, which will cost like 600 - 700+. Now, this 2pid company had managed to produce better n better cards that the highest end cost sth like 1.6k ~~~ I was like.. *jaw drop... It cost more than my new com lah ~ Somemore dun think our eyes can see the diff with the quality of the graphics lor... Nvm, me now saving for a graphic card for my com now, wonder how long it'll take.. n no, i'm nt going to buy tt 1.6k thingie
One whole day of lazing arnd..
HaizZz, dunno if its the 2pid flu medicine carrying its effect forward.. but then today whole day me like stoning like tt, super dazed.. told myself to start mugging, but then end up i did nth but to file up my chem stuff.. Wahaha, like giving myself excuses tt i'm doing sth productive... Kk, kevin teo, u will start mugging tml ~ u can do it ~ HaizZz, pai seh, brain nt functioning, laming arnd.. Hope the arrival of the new com n the revival of CS will nt affect my study.. erm.. too much =P
